Abbott and Costello Meet The Invisible Man, released in 1951 is a comedic meeting of the classic comedic duo Abbott and Costello with the classic Universal Monster The Invisible Man. Like all of the Abbott and Costello movies, this one is a lot of fun, and really well done. I am always so impressed at how well done these films are. The film features the same great special effects as the original films in the Invisible Man series, and even features a picture of Claude Rains in the doctor's office as a call back to the original film. The comedy is over the top and slapstick and silly, but works so well. The film is well scripted, and the effects look beautiful. This film isn't as memorable or talked about as Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, but it is still a great film. I really couldn't find much as far as critical reviews of the film, and it seems like it really isn't talked about a lot by critics. But from what I could find it seems that the film was positively reviewed, as most Abbot and Costello films were. Would I recommend this film? Yes, absolutely. This is a great film, and film and I highly recommend for anyone that is a fan of comedy or classic horror. The film has the perfect mix of comedy and action, and the great slap-stick comedic style that Abbott and Costello are known for. If you ever get a chance to see this film, definitely don't pass up the opportunity. I mean it isn't as great as Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein, but it is still definitely worth the view, and a lot of fun.
